Airaid Intakes for your 2015-2017 Ford Mustang GT can really give you a boost in the HP department
You already own the best Mustang, or one of the best Mustangs ever built. You have more than enough horsepower, right? I guess that question should be answered by each individual 6th Gen owner. Personally, I feel you can never have enough horsepower. If you are like me then good thing companies like Airaid exist!
The AIRAID MXP Series represents the ultimate in Cold Air Induction systems. Designed for high-performance gas and diesel applications, the MXP Intakes start with a new one piece roto-molded air box that addresses all the shortcomings of the restrictive factory design. Then AIRAID adds a new air intake tube constructed of cross-linked, high-density Polyethylene that is designed using extensive computer modeling to maintain proper mass air flow readings and calibration.

They also frequently have a built-in velocity stack, which further promotes airflow. What this all means is a simple-to-install system that was designed using extremely sophisticated technology to increase airflow while maintaining proper air / fuel ratios, therefore eliminating the need for re-calibration once installation is complete. Just bolt it on and go! Like any other AIRAID Intake System, the MXP includes an AIRAID Premium Filter that is sized to maximize power and efficiency. This intake comes with a SynthaMax dry blue colored filter that is cleanable and reusable.

These Mustang GT Cold Air Intakes can be purchased from many online retailers. We found that PFYC has a great price and keeps them in stock. We do know that no matter where you decide to purchase your Airaid intake, you’ll be like a kid on Christmas when you smash the throttle for the first time!
Maybe it’s just me, but there’s always been something about the rear-end of a Mustang that just brings a smile to my face. It’s wide and aggressive and just all around well designed. Well, RPI Designs, located right here in the USA, has come up with a Stage 1 Rear Blade Spoiler that just took that rear end to a whole new level.
This sleek new spoiler mounts directly where your existing spoiler is. No spoiler? No problem! RPI sends a template with every spoiler so you know exactly where to drill the holes to easily install your new rear spoiler.
These spoilers are sold paint-matched to your car’s body color, and even come with a money-back guarantee for quality and paint-match. These guys have been making and painting parts for Corvettes and Mustangs for over 20 years and take great pride in their work. The 5-star rating we found on their website backs them up, in our opinion!
Do yourself a favor and go check them out. Maybe it’s time to upgrade that rear end, and what better way than with a sleek blade spoiler?
While spending some free time cruising the web for any new and exciting ‘Stang news this evening, we stumbled upon this picture of Barricade, the antagonistic Decepticon in the movie series Transformers.
Director Michael Bay released this photo of Barricade, preparing for the June 2017 release date of Transformers 5: The Last Knight, giving us a quick glimpse at the big-screen makeover this 6th Gen Mustang has undergone thus far.
Complete with push bar, light bar, pillar mounted spotlights, fierce hood scoops, and an intimidating massive rear wing, Barricade sure looks like he’s ready to take on Bumblebee again in another action packed Transformers film, carrying forward the long-standing Ford vs Chevy pony car rivalry. In previous films, Barricade has been modeled after a Saleen-modified Mustang, but it’s still unclear if this new style is related to Saleen this time around.
Autobots and Decepticons aside, we are pretty sure we can all agree that this is one mean looking ‘Stang.
