While spending some free time cruising the web for any new and exciting ‘Stang news this evening, we stumbled upon this picture of Barricade, the antagonistic Decepticon in the movie series Transformers.
Director Michael Bay released this photo of Barricade, preparing for the June 2017 release date of Transformers 5: The Last Knight, giving us a quick glimpse at the big-screen makeover this 6th Gen Mustang has undergone thus far.
Complete with push bar, light bar, pillar mounted spotlights, fierce hood scoops, and an intimidating massive rear wing, Barricade sure looks like he’s ready to take on Bumblebee again in another action packed Transformers film, carrying forward the long-standing Ford vs Chevy pony car rivalry. In previous films, Barricade has been modeled after a Saleen-modified Mustang, but it’s still unclear if this new style is related to Saleen this time around.
Autobots and Decepticons aside, we are pretty sure we can all agree that this is one mean looking ‘Stang.
It’s no doubt Ford has a home run with the 2015 Ford Mustang. They built, in our opinion, the best looking Pony in history….and there have been quite a few good looking Ponies in the 50+ years. Sales for the 2015 Ford Mustang in March were up over 35% from a year ago March….35%, that is not a typo! Ford popped out over 12,500 Mustangs in March 2015. That’s over 400 per day, over 16 per hour! Just to compare, the 2nd best selling “sporty” car in March was the Challenger, with just over 5,000 selling. The Camaro is really looking dated and not selling well. The Camaro is coming out in 8-9 months, which might put a little damper on the new Mustang, but the numbers are still amazing!
The 2015 Ford Mustang has been a hit here at home, but also a hit globally. Ford has been on a road show of sorts, sporting their newest pony in the lineup. The 2015 Mustang was recently introduced in the Publika mall in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. This 2015 Ford Mustang is slightly different than the US version. It’s a right hand drive machine and doesn’t officially go on sale until 2016, making it a 2016 model once you can get your hands on one. We’ve learned from sources that the Mustang on display is a GT model, with 435HP…
So if you are a driver in Kuala Lumpur and really want to get your hands on one of these, you’ll have to wait another 6 months or so. But, if you are like us, we found the wait to be well worth it and we are enjoying our 2015 GT daily.
If you want to have a super high performance sports car, and also want super high safety, then look no further than the all new 2015 Ford Mustang. The 2015 Ford Mustang recently received a 5-Star Safety Rating in the New Car Assessment Program from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA).

The 2015 Ford Mustang received a five-star score in the NHTSA’s frontal, side and rollover evaluations.
So maybe it’s time for you to “Pony up” and get that Mustang that you have always wanted. What better time to get a beautiful Mustang that can keep up with the best of any sports car and also haul the entire family, while keeping the entire family safe. We congratulate Ford on this epic new Mustang.
Mustang fans get yourselves ready…..the GT350R is about to launch and we might even say it’s the baddest Mustang ever built….How would you like to have 500HP under your right foot in the matter of a second? Well the GT350R is equipped with a massive 500HP 5.2L V8 engine that any hardcore enthusiast can be proud to call their own. Ford has equipped the GT350R with a Torsen limited slip differential to make sure that horsepower makes it to the ground. Not only has Ford given this beast a ton of horsepower but they also have equipped the Mustang with carbon fiber wheels. Yes, you heard that right. Carbon fiber wheels. These wheels will save you 13 pounds per wheel.
The 2015 Ford Mustang EcoBoost comes equipped with a turbo charged 4 cylinder motor. We all have vivid memories of the last Mustangs that came with 4 cylinders….please help us forget. This new 2015 Ford Mustang with the EcoBoost really pounds out a lot of power, numbers we find claim 310hp and 320ft lp torque. Not too shabby for a Mustang with 4 cylinders – heck those numbers are impressive.
The good news about the EcoBoost requiring hi-grade fuel is the fact that the fuel prices have dropped about 50% throughout the United States in the past six months. We hope they stay at these prices for many years to come. The EcoBoost really loses a lot of it’s power when regular 87 unleaded is pumped into it’s engine. The web forum www.mustang6g.com has posted reports of large power loses when lower grade fuel is used. We do not have exact numbers, but from what we see over at Mustang6G it would seem the users are right.
To recap, if you own a 2015 Mustang EcoBoost then you will want to make sure you pump in the expensive stuff if you want to achieve ultimate performance. If you aren’t worried about drag racing, then opt for the lower grade fuel and save money in your pocket book.
Listen up all Ford Mustang fans….Ford has done it again. The 2015 Mustang is the official car of the year over at Detroit Free Press. Fifty years after the first Mustang rolled off the line Ford has managed, once again, to put the Mustang at the top of the charts…and who can disagree? This new Ford Mustang is just an all around amazing piece of American engineering!
2015 Ford Mustang Interior
Ford has done a great job with the new 2015 Mustang. From the choice of engines, a small but powerful 4cyl turbo “Eco-Boost” engine, a V6 engine or the dominate 5.0L V8 that we’ve all come to love over the decades. But Ford did more than put sweet engines in these Mustangs. Ford has managed to bring the interior to levels we’ve not seen in a Mustang before. The fit, material and craftsmanship is amazing.
2015 Ford Mustang Exterior
Ford didn’t stop with the interior or the the engines. The exterior got a complete face lift and revamp. The front splitter and side skirts really make this new Mustang look so aggressive. The headlights are awesome and the new wheel choices would make any car nut excited. Congratulations Ford, you deserve the car of the year!
Well to all of our fans in Europe, you’ll be pleased to know that Ford has released the pricing for the all new 2015 Mustang. Only two engine options will be available in Europe, the good old 5.0 and also the Turbo Charged Eco-Boost 4 cylinder. The base Eco-boost model will cost roughly 34,000 euro (nearly $41,000.00 US). The GT 5.0L Mustang will cost you 39,000 euro (nearly $47,6500 US).

From what we’ve read the convertible will cost you about 4,000 euro more than the base. This is about $5,000 more. We are sure that the Eco-Boost will be popular in Europe. Fuel prices are historically much higher in Europe than the USA. As of this post, regular unleaded gasoline in France is $5.54/gallon (USD). In Germany a gallon of unleaded will set you back $5.57/gallon. With the great fuel economy and great power of the turbo, we are betting the Eco-Boost will win over Europe.

2015 Ford Mustang Shelby GT50

Just as the Shelby GT350 did in 1965, we expect this new-generation pony car to demonstrate Ford Motor Company continues to lead the world in innovation and performance.”

Flat Rock officially begins production of the all new 2015 Ford Mustang on August 28, 2014. Many of us feel this is the beginning of big things for Ford and the Mustang. We’ve never seen such a great looking or great performing Mustang from Ford.
The GT model comes with a 5.0L engine that puts out a beefy 435HP and 400lb torque. For the customer looking for the great features, but not worried as much about power then you might opt for the EcoBoost or V6 engine. The V6 comes as a 3.7L or even the turbo charged 4cyl engine that puts out an impressive 310HP and 320lb torque.
We will be updating our blog with production numbers from month to month, so be sure to stay tuned!
